Job summary

Agus is seeking a dynamic and experienced (Senior) Key Account Manager, France to lead and drive the company’s sales strategy across the French market. This pivotal role will focus on developing and expanding business relationships with all major French retailers, wholesalers, eCommerce and alternative channels, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership in the food and beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Agus’s business objectives.
  • Major Retailers and Wholesalers/Franchise Partnerships: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in major French retailers, including Carrefour, E.Leclerc (Galec), Intermarche, Auchan, Lagardere, Aldi, Lidl and others.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective negotiation, account management, and new business development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a champion for customer needs within the organization, advocating for solutions that enhance their experience. Gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the food and beverage industry, preferably non-alcoholic category.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing sales strategies with major retailers and wholesalers/independents
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • ‘Hunter’ mindset, ability to work on own initiative
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
